Learning Through Vermicomposting

Students at JS Clark were fortunate to have Hillary Sheppard from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality visit our classrooms to teach students about vermicomposting — a process that’s both special and unique to our community. Hillary shared what worms can and cannot eat and how they transform waste into rich, healthy soil.

Our students are “Carrying the Spark” through learning experiences in which they nurture their curiosity, care for the land, and help sustain the life-giving spark of environmental stewardship that will continue to grow wherever life takes them.
